A note from Adventure Science founder, Simon Donato

As we prepare for a trek through a landscape that inspired Theodore Roosevelt,the 26th president of the United States, to create the national park system, I find it inspiring to read some of his quotes – which I believe still ring true today, over 100 years later. 

“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure… than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”
